Sustainable Foods Week focuses on Namdo’s slow foods, including temple cuisine, fermented foods, and vegan dishes, under the slogan “A Challenge for Sustainable Namdo Cuisine.” It showcases a wide range of culinary cultures.
The vegan food corner offers tastings and sales from Namdo’s leading vegan restaurants, along with guidance on vegan certification.
The fermentation zone introduces kimchi, jeotgal (fermented seafood), and traditional liquor, along with hands-on kimchi-making experiences and slow food exhibitions and sales.
The traditional jang (fermented sauces) zone includes live cooking talk shows with masters, exhibitions and sales of jang, and hands-on traditional liquor-making.
The bread & confectionery corner features local bakery exhibitions, tastings, and live demonstrations, while the temple cuisine zone offers hands-on experiences in preparing traditional temple dishes with artisan chefs.
